Cégep (College)

Le clocher du Cégep de RimouskiA rendezvous with quality!

The Cégep de Rimouski was founded in the heart of the historic downtown of Rimouski in 1967. Forty years later, it has one of the best placement rates in the province. The success of the graduates of the Cégep (the acronym for Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel or college of general and vocational education), whether they go on to university studies or enter the job market directly, proves once again that the region has much to offer in terms of training and higher education.

Beyond its essential role in the region's development, the highest priorities at the Cégep de Rimouski are its students and their success.

With technical training programs in health, applied physics and administration, the Cégep de Rimouski prepares versatile technicians for the future, with all the necessary skills and abilities to take on the responsibilities related to the various aspects of their area of specialization. Mindful of its role in helping anyone interested in furthering their education in whatever area, the Cégep de Rimouski also offers continuing education programs to all comers, because our daily experience pushes us to always do better.
